Structural Design Engineer

We have an opportunity for an Engineer to join our Structural Practice. Candidates for the Structural Design Engineer position should have experience in small size projects such as shipyard building, international airport, exhibition center, hydroelectric plant, warehouse, factory, workshop, showroom, cold-storage, steel mill tower and research facility design, and tenant renovation work preferably in a consulting engineering firm environment.

Job Description

- Deploy the design model, design calculations to create approval drawings, design calculation sheet/design report, and other requirements.

- Read documents and learn technical research problems.

- Support to design explanations.

- Support to optimal steel structure optimization

Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Industrial Engineering (Priority in HCMC University of Architecture, HCMC University of Technology)

- Intermediate English level such as reading, reply mail and comprehending approval documents, essential communication.

- Computer skill

+ Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel,...)

+ Structural engineering software (Etabs, Sap2000, Safe, Autocad).

+ Knowledge about BIM (Building Information modeling), 3D modeling tools such as Tekla Structures, Autodesk Revit is an advantage

- Knowledge supported

+ Understand an outlook of technical drawing and design standards.

+ Understand intensively about fabricating and erecting processes.

- Skill supported

+ Good communication and presentation.

+ Teamwork

+ Ability to go on a business trip if required.
