PATHEIN HOSPITAL PROJECT IN MYANMAR

This project is unique in the Myanmar market. With capacity for 500 beds, total slab area around 30.000 m2, ten floors, and height more than 40m, BMB Steel designs Pathein Hospital with steel structure for the mainframe, the composite network for Slab bracing systems were changed to follow ART design suitably. This project also considered seismic load based on UBC 97, wind velocity about 160 km/h base on MNBC-2016. This project mostly applied the highest requirement from CQHP for high-rise buildings, such as Fireproof protection 2 hours, Horizontal Displacement H/600, And structural stabilization conditions.
We made the history of high-rise steel building here. When this project finish, it will be the highest building in Pathein City. We already erected more than 99% frame quantity at the site. Because of changing the government, they stop all high-rise buildings with more than 7th floor for checking the design and our project in the same case. But with significant support from the design team in Head Office, we pass CQHP's requirement.
