To spread joy as well as share love with children in difficult circumstances on the night of the full moon festival, on September 28, 2023, the BMB Love School Foundation completed its mission in the "Joy for Children" program with more than 200 gifts given to children studying at Binh Trieu, Thu Duc district.
Mid-Autum Festival, according to the lunar calendar, is the full moon day of August every year. This is a children's day festival, also known as the "Moon Festival". Children look forward to celebrating this Tet because they are given toys by adults—sometimes star lanterns, masks, marching lanterns, or water guns—and then go with their families. Gather around a tray of scones, sticky rice cakes, and a cup of fragrant tea, and listen to your parents tell the story of Ms. Hang and Uncle Cuoi. But besides that, there are still children who have not celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival, have not eaten baked cakes, and have not been told the story of that moon by their parents. Each of them has a different story about their own situation. You guys really need open, loving arms to welcome you into our hearts. And this time, the BMB bus rolled around again, continuing its journey of bringing joy to the children. BMB volunteers distributed gifts, told stories, and welcomed the most beautiful full moon season with the children this year.
Looking at the children's smiles, we are even more motivated to strive to bring more volunteer programs. Hopefully, in the future, the Binh Trieu Development Center in Thu Duc District will receive more attention from sponsors so that the children will always live in the warm embrace of the community, and when they grow up, they will return to politics. The love I received continues to spread to difficult lives.
