Who is Sailun?

Sailun was founded in 2002. It is the first Chinese company working on researching, developing, manufacturing, and trading private tire products, as well as providing tire services. Sailun has factories in Qingdao, Indochina, Shen Yang, and Vietnam. Their tire factories are equipped with modern technology. Sailun has wide sales and logistics networks and distribution centers in America and Europe, with products sold in more than 100 countries, including countries in Asia, Europe, America, and Africa.

In 2019, Sailun Co.Ltd took pride in achieving a revenue of 15.1 billion RMB, ranking the third company in China and 17th in the world in exporting radial semi-steel tires. Sailun has been one of the top-ranking companies in China for 6 years that focus on this product. For Sailun, the Sailun steel structure factory project is a remarkable building, an outcome of their endless effort. In order to reach their other goals of growth, Sailun has heavily invested in manufacturing, one of which was building their factory in Vietnam.

 Overall information about the Sailun project

SAILUN is a construction with a special design with a height of 520m, including 4 separate sections of workshops with specialized functions and different heights of the roof. The process of planning the structure of the factory took place at the same time as the CDT equipment design. Therefore, there were several problems happened when the engineers drew the path of equipment systems and pipreack. BMB engineers had to continuously update information about the weight and location specifications of equipment in order to make timely changes which ensured the lead time of the construction process.

Sailun spent a huge investment on this project, a 70.671-square-meter construction. This proves that Sailun expects a lot of this project and truly wants to expand its production scale and market. The equipment system for the Sailun project is one of the major factors contributing to the success of the project. All CDT specialized equipment was produced in China and imported to Vietnam. Only small mistakes can lead the production line to be out of order and cannot operate production. BMB Steel had to make completely accurate calculations and designs that fit the imported production line as well as meet strict standards on load, elevation, location, connection points, dimensions, and so on. Besides, it is important for BMB engineers to be flexible in adjusting the design to adapt to changing technical specifications
Having to deal with a large amount of steel, BMB evaluated the lead time of about 180 days. During this time, BMB put a great deal of effort into finishing the construction project in the time committed.

The rainy season in May made the working process more difficult than ever. It was a challenge for BMB workers to erect 36-meter steel bars when it rained and blew heavily. However, all of them attempted to finish the project timely. During the rainy season, they had to sleep in small camps with water spreading around. Sometimes, they had to move their documents to avoid getting wet and sweep the water away to sleep. 

After the rainy season, Sailun working teams had to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic with a lot of difficulties. They had 3-months to stop working due to Tay Ninh province’s decision about the Covid-19 lockdown. However hard it was, BMB Steel tried to complete the construction timely.
