BMB Steel marks Vinfast’s new milestone in Indonesia

On December 15, 2025, VinFast officially inaugurated its fourth electric vehicle manufacturing plant worldwide in Subang, West Java, Indonesia. This facility is also VinFast’s first manufacturing plant in Indonesia and across Southeast Asia outside of Vietnam, representing a significant step forward in the company’s global expansion strategy and underscoring the growing international presence of Vietnam’s electric vehicle industry.
Completed in just 17 months from groundbreaking, the project demonstrates VinFast’s impressive execution speed and strong delivery capabilities. The plant, developed with a total investment exceeding USD 1 billion, spans 171 hectares and is designed in line with modern, integrated technological standards.
In its initial phase, the facility has an annual capacity of 50,000 vehicles, with plans to scale up to 350,000 cars per year in the future. The plant is expected to generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs for the local workforce. It will focus on producing electric models VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, and VF 7, tailored to the Indonesian market and the wider region.
This milestone not only reinforces VinFast’s position on the global electric vehicle manufacturing map but also opens up long-term collaboration opportunities with strategic partners and international supply chains. For BMB STEEL, participation in the inauguration reflects our commitment to standing alongside large-scale industrial developments, contributing to forward-looking manufacturing value chains in the era of green and sustainable technologies.

On December 13, 2025, the inauguration ceremony for the project consisting of 5 new classrooms and a separate restroom facility for boys and girls was held in Gao commune, Gia Lai province. With a total funding of 600 million VND fully sponsored by BMB Steel, the project was completed after more than two months of construction, providing a safe, spacious, and hopeful learning environment for the teachers and students here.

BMB Steel has just participated in a construction exhibition in PHILCONSTRUCT Visayas 2022 from July 21st to July 23rd, 2022.
On October 5, 2023, BMB Steel was named at the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) ceremony in the category "Corporate Excellence Award", marking a sustainable development step and proving its ability to enhance the organizational strength and business strategy of the Board of Directors over the past 20 years. The event was held at the Gem Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
