Job Description
Develop and implement delivery plans aligned with production schedules and project timelines.
Prepare and manage the logistics budget while optimizing transportation costs and solutions.
Coordinate and monitor international shipments with shipping lines, freight forwarders, trucking companies, and overseas logistics partners.
Prepare, review, and manage import and export documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
Coordinate customs clearance, Certificates of Origin (C/O), quarantine procedures, specialized permits, and other regulatory requirements.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth customs clearance in both Vietnam and destination countries.
Proactively monitor and resolve transportation issues, including shipment delays, rollovers, and documentation discrepancies.
Handle logistics exceptions such as customs inspections, demurrage and detention charges, carrier claims, insurance claims, document amendments, and post-clearance audits.
Evaluate logistics service providers based on KPIs, including service quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery performance.
Develop and maintain a reliable network of freight forwarders across key markets.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager and the Board of Directors.
Participate in developing and continuously improving logistics and import/export processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Requirement
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Logistics, Import & Export, or Supply Chain.
Technical Knowledge: Incoterms, international payments, HS Codes, customs procedures, C/O, and project cargo logistics.
Skill: English communication, Microsoft Office, Negotiation and communication, Planning and cost analysis, Problem-solving.
Personal Attributes: Proactive, trustworthy, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure, strong teamwork.
Preferred: Experience in freight forwarding, export manufacturing, structural steel, shipping lines, customs brokerage, or customs-related operations is an advantage.
