Recently, BMB Steel had the opportunity to cooperate with Tan A Dai Thanh Group to execute a large-scale construction chain of 3 factories No. 4, 5 and 6 in Long An. Formerly Dai Thanh Company (since 1990), with more than 26 years of experience, Tan A Dai Thanh has officially become a special name in the market of solar water heaters with more than dozens of large-scale production factories (up to 60000m2 area spreading across provinces and cities in Vietnam such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Dak Nong, Hung Yen, etc.

3. Project details

With a rapid construction time (145 days) for the chain of 3 factories No. 3, 4, 5 of Tan A Dai Thanh Group, the project is officially marked in the series of achievements that BMB has implemented over the years. Through project completion and inspection, engineers determined that this is a project with medium complexity, but the huge scale and volume of steel (up to 66 000m2 and 804 124 tons) are two complicated factors. These intricate problems make the design team have to meticulously consider to come up with a suitable design plan, ensuring the capacity and function of each factory.

To ensure the temperature conditions of the factories’ "shield”, which protect the 3 plants from the effects of the environment, a corrugated iron system was applied to ensure the project’s optimization when completed. Specifically:

• Roofing system: Bare Zinc – Alu AZ150

Waveform: seam lock.

Area: 64,784 m2.

• Wall cladding: Bare Zinc – Alu AZ150

Waveform: 7 waves.

Area: 8,416 m2.

• Polycarbonate Nicelight: Milky

Waveform: Seam-lock.

Area: 6,793 m2.

The quality corrugated iron system was installed suitably. Thus, when put into operation, the 3 factories have achieved many different standards, including standards of load, deviation, etc. In terms of construction progress, all 3 factories were built at the same time. Specifically, factory No. 4 conducted on June 3, 2017, factory No. 5 carried out on April 10, 2017 and factory No. 6 on March 27, 2017.
