In recent years, Ba Ria-Vung Tau has increasingly developed because of its geographical position as well as its economic development potential. Many factories and plants have sprung up, proving the rapid development of this province. One of them is the project to build a factory to produce Entobel animal feed materials for Entobel Company Limited. This is one of the unique and typical projects of BMB Steel that won the bid in the first quarter of 2023. Next, we invite you to follow the article below to learn more about the project.
Located in the Southern Key Economic Region, at the gateway to the East Sea of the provinces in the Southeast region, Ba Ria-Vung Tau connects with Ho Chi Minh City and other localities by road, air, and water. BR-VT is not only famous as a tourist coastal city but also for its stable economic development. Investors of many large projects have chosen this province as the location for their projects, including Entobel Co., Ltd., realizing the potential of BR-VT, so the investor of this company has stopped at Dat Do district, BR-VT province, where our factory to produce animal feed materials is built.

Based in Singapore, Entobel is one of the very few companies that has produced insect ingredients on a commercial scale from black soldier flies. The company is currently building Asia's largest insect factory in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, Vietnam, which will supply 10,000 tons of insect powder annually to customers producing aquaculture feed and animal feed for domestic and international pets. Construction is on schedule, and commercial sales are expected later this year.
Two Belgian entrepreneurs, Gaëtan Crielaard and Alex de Caters, started their journey to Vietnam in 2013 after realizing the great potential of insect protein for animal nutrition during their Master's studies. They quickly determined that Vietnam would be one of the key markets to establish this business model. Among millions of insect species, they chose the Black Soldier Fly and thus set foot in Vietnam to conduct the first experiments focusing on research on the biology of this insect.
In 2013, Entobel was founded with the mission to provide the missing piece in the global food chain by converting low-value by-products into beneficial products using insects. The name ‘Entobel’ comes from the compound name of an insect (Greek ‘ento’ means insect) and the company’s homeland, Belgium (‘bel’ in English, Belgium). Entobel is expected to gain huge advantages from industry growth when Vietnam becomes the world's top 3 country in animal feed production in the aquaculture industry. The need to come up with solutions to produce sustainable, protein-rich animal feed will be an urgent need to solve the problem of animal feed in Vietnam.
Upon receiving the news of winning the bid for the Entobel factory project, BMB Steel engineers quickly began estimating work. Engineers commented that this is a project of low complexity; however, with a relatively large area and meeting the investor's strict requirements in terms of time, BMB Steel quickly began work. We have carefully calculated and decided to transport 1,000 tons of steel to the mound to serve this nearly 50,000 m2 project.
Regarding the corrugated iron, we chose Seam Lock corrugated iron—7 ribs with a thickness of 0.4 mm—a type of corrugated iron with vertical seams (floating joints) protruding above the flat panel of the roof. This type of roof is usually installed vertically, running from the eaves to the top of the roof. The special thing about seamlock corrugated iron is that the connecting screws are hidden below the seam. Whether the sheet is attached to the roof slab or roof purlin with clamps, the connecting screws are hidden and protected from the elements. Seam-lock corrugated iron has the following outstanding advantages: excellent longevity, using a hidden screw connection system helps the roof structure last longer, helping you achieve the best return on your investment costs. easy Easily install additional solar battery systems, anti-fall systems, etc. to help increase the convenience of your home. Be flexible in color and texture while providing a pure, clean look. Modern and suitable for many home styles.
More specifically, for the paint part, we chose Epoxy paint with a primer layer thickness of 80 microns and a finishing paint thickness of 60 microns. This is a type of paint that is not unfamiliar to the construction industry because its use and convenience are almost optimal for every project. Achieving high aesthetics for the project. Epoxy paint has effective adhesion properties and the ability to effectively resist the effects of chemicals and temperature. In addition, with its guaranteed mechanical and electrical properties, it is always used in projects today. In industry, this product is used for coating steel and concrete surfaces.
Once again, BMB would like to sincerely thank the investor, Entobel BR-VT Co., Ltd., for trusting and choosing BMB as the main contractor for this project. Hopefully, in the future, we can cooperate more together on new projects. We would also like to thank you for following up on the Entobel factory project information. Through this project, have you chosen any type of construction for your factory? Don't hesitate to contact BMB when you are wondering about this type of pre-engineered steel building construction!
