The MAXIHUB lube oil blending plant is a significant investment scale project. Its investment owner include Taiwan Petroleum Corporation (CPC Corporation, Taiwan) and CTCI Group (the largest EPC contractor in Taiwan). In this article, let's learn more about BMB Steel about this particular pre-engineered steel building project.

MAXIHUB Company (international name: MAXIHUB Company Limited) is a company with 100% Taiwanese capital with the contribution of three investors:
1. Taiwan National Petroleum Corporation (CPC)
2. Unishine Chemical Company (UCC)
3. Excel Chemical Company (ECC)
MAXIHUB focuses on the business of importing lubricating base oils, blending and mixing lubricants, distributing small quantities into bottles, and supplying lubricants to units/partners who need to use lubricants. Besides, the company also imports and stores solvents and chemicals. The above imported materials will be tested, bottled, and distributed meticulously.
Currently, after the lubricant mixing plant has been completed and put into production, MAXIHUB is in the process of building and developing the lubricant supply market in Vietnam.
The Taiwanese government owns CPC Petroleum Corporation. It is a big player in Taiwan's economy. The Vietnamese market is predicted to have great potential for developing the lubricant industry, an opportunity for CPC to expand its business scale and grow in the international market.
CPC Chairman Tai Chein has planned to invest 1.79 billion NT$ ~ 60.55 million USD to build the MAXIHUB lube oil blending plant. Once completed, the estimated capacity will supply 32 million liters of lubricants and solvents annually to CPC.
This is the second investment of this Taiwanese oil and gas tycoon in the Vietnamese market, after the success of the joint venture plant project to distribute liquefied petroleum gas in the north in 1994.
For the MAXIHUB project, BMB Steel undertakes the factory’s design and construction of the entire steel structure. The total scale of this project is 93,980 m2 (total factory area is about 11,000 m2), built-in Ong Keo Industrial Park, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province.
BMB steel is based on the customer's preliminary idea to offer different design options for optimizing construction costs and ensuring the highest product quality.
Additionally, many strict standards and special rules are applied to ensure the operation of the lubricant factory as well as the strict requirements of the corporation. BMB Steel engineers had to follow the requirements and quickly correct them to keep up with the processing and construction progress.
The team of engineers spent almost a month and 20 days sketching and coming up with creative designs to serve the needs of the customer. There were probably 1200 times that engineers had to correct the MAXIHUB’s engineering design. In addition, quality is the key priority of BMB Steel. We also ensure high aesthetics for customers. Customers will be exceedingly satisfied when they receive great designs from BMB Steel.
Optimizing construction areas, minimizing costs, minimizing construction risks, being on time, and ensuring standards are the key factors that BMB Steel staff receive and meet. Besides, the construction terrain is difficult for construction, so the transportation of materials encountered many obstacles during the construction of MAXIHUB steel structure project. The road to the project is small with many pot-holes, so it is difficult to transport corrugated iron panels to the construction site. Workers transporting materials had to move slowly. All corrugated iron panels delivered to the construction site are carefully checked by BMB engineers to ensure the highest quality. In addition, because the Maxihub project is near the sea, many materials have been changed to suit the environment. For instance, BMB changed to use epoxy paint to ensure long-term product quality. In particular, the entire roof and walls of the factories are made from corrugated iron panels for heat and sound insulation.
BMB Steel was designed and built with a "speedy" progress, but the quality is still guaranteed, and the customers are extremely satisfied. After completing the Maxihub project, BMB Steel was introduced by CTCI Vietnam to become a global partner of CTCI group (CTCI Group is an EPC general contractor - EPC stands for Engineering - Procurement of goods - EPC). This is an opportunity to open a brand new way for BMB Steel to corporate with many big companies all around the world.
