With a number of advantages, steel structures play an important role in constructing transportation infrastructure. Nowadays, they are used in several different transportation projects to serve transportation demand and promote local economic growth. BMB Steel takes pride in being contracted for many steel transportation infrastructure projects. This writing shall discuss some highlighting constructions of BMB Steel.
The application of steel structures in transportation infrastructure is widespread and plays a crucial role in the construction of various transportation systems. Steel offers several advantages, such as strength, durability, versatility, and cost-effectiveness. Here are some examples of steel transportation infrastructure:
Overall, the application of steel structures in transportation infrastructure is diverse and contributes to the development of efficient, safe, and sustainable transportation systems. Below are some highlighting transportation infrastructure projects in charge by BMB Steel.
2.1 Accessories of Phu My Bridge
The Phu My Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The construction of the Phu My Bridge began in 2002 and was completed in 2009. It has become an important transportation infrastructure in Ho Chi Minh City, facilitating smoother traffic flow in the surrounding areas. BMB Steel was responsible for providing the accessories for the bridge construction project. The total amount of steel used in this project was 700 tons.
2.2 Bridge of Dong Nai 4 Hydroelectric Power Plant 4
The Dong Nai 4 Hydroelectric Power Plant is a significant hydropower project, established on December 26th, 2004 and completed on February 27th, 2013. This project provides various benefits to the region, meeting the electricity needs of the surrounding areas. BMB Steel took pride in being the contractor of the steel frame of the bridge. We constructed a firm steel structure with about 400 tons of steel, allowing a link between two river banks, facilitating inspecting and maintenance activities.
